Our mission in honour of a colleague we lost to cancer; was to raise money in our departments,and for the department Managers to push together through a 25km walk, and endure a toughMudder course. With one month to prepare ourselves, our journey started 8:30am at theOld Gippsland Tea Room where we began to walk 25km through the town and back.Once completed we ventured over to The Summit in Trafalgar where we wentthrough a tough Mudder course twice! Together we raised $25,987, Patterson Cheneymatched our efforts, and we donated $51,072 to Cancer Council Victoria.

The Toyota Good for Footy program is an annual event in partnership withNoble Park Football club. It is an opportunity to give back to the local community byproviding financial support to local football, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the kidsto get up close with AFL stars. We have worked with AFL stars such as former Western BulldogsStar Liam Picken and St Kilda Captain Jarryn Geary. The event brings massive inflatable rides,rock climbing wall, 9D Truck cinema, DJ, and more. This free event helps us raise funds toNoble Park Football Club which we have been in partnership with for more than 20 years.

Patterson Cheney Toyota is also involved with Toyota Australia’s support for theNational Tree Day Campaign. National Tree Day encourages communities to helppreserve the environment for future generations. Our team goes above and beyondin the cause, and not only donates uniforms, trees, and all the necessary material,but we also get our hands dirty together with Dandenong Primary School.Schools Tree Day is a great way to teach kids about caring for theenvironment and creating a greener future.

Patterson Cheney Toyota is proud to support local celebrations such as thelocal Afghan Community. Together we celebrate their New Years, known as Nawroz.The festival takes place in Dandenong witnessed a great turnout, with massive crowdsand plenty of enjoyable and unique festivities! As the major sponsor of the festivalwe were grateful for the opportunity to give back and show our appreciation to theAfghan community who have been a major friend of Patterson Cheney Toyotafor many years. Patterson Cheney Toyota was proud to support and be a part of The ChisholmEducation Foundation Annual Charity Golf Day that took place at the CommonwealthGolf Club in Oakleigh. Despite a few ominous rain clouds being present early, the suncame out and a fantastic day of golf was had by all. Importantly a significant amountwas raised to help fund the great work done by the Caroline Chisholm EducationFoundation that will go a long way to help their endeavours to provide educationscholarships to those facing difficulties and disadvantages.
