Our Community Patterson Cheney Toyota
Patterson Cheney Toyota has been a proud partner and sponsor of many local community groups and charities for many years.
We believe in helping our community make a difference.
Good for Footy
On Wednesday 9th May 2018 we enjoyed our Good For Footy night at our local footy club, Noble Park. The ‘Good for Footy’ program is a grassroots initiative, and it is our opportunity to give back to our local community by providing financial support and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans to get up close with AFL stars. This year, Jarryn Geary, a key player with the St Kilda Football Club was on-site, helping the kids have some fun on the night – running training drills and having a chat about his career. Over 250 people participated in the event and there were plenty of activities on offer including a Rock Climbing Wall, Rides, Footy Games, Heaps of Giveaways and Live entertainment. The bar was open and there was a BBQ for all the mums and dads. Radio SEN broadcasted live crosses and there was heaps of fun activities and giveaways on the night for all ages.
Nawroz Festival 2017
On the 26th of March, Patterson Cheney Toyota helped the local Afghan Community Celebrate their New Year, known as Nawroz. The festival which took place in Dandenong witnessed a great turnout, with massive crowds and plenty of enjoyable and unique festivities! As the major sponsor of the festival we were grateful for the opportunity to give back and show our appreciation to the Afghan community who have been a major friend of Patterson Cheney Toyota for many years. A big thanks to everyone involved, especially those in attendance and the Patterson Cheney Staff who did a great job on the day!
Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation Annual Charity Golf Day 2017
Patterson Cheney Toyota was proud to support and be a part of The Chisholm Education Foundation Annual Charity Golf Day that took place at the Commonwealth Golf Club in Oakleigh. Despite a few ominous rain clouds being present early, the sun came out and a fantastic day of golf was had by all. Importantly a significant amount was raised to help fund the great work done by the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation that will go a long way to help their endeavours to provide education scholarships to those facing difficulties and disadvantages.
In 2014, we donated a RAV vehicle to Camp Quality.
Camp Quality aims to create a better life for children with cancer in Australia, and their Puppet Show school programs carry a valuable message in helping peers understand cancer and most importantly, how to be a good friend. Our support for the organisation with the donation of a RAV vehicle has helped Camp Quality educators continue to reach and inspire Australian children with fun, laughter and positivity.
