From humble beginnings dating back to the 1920s Patterson Cheney Motors Group has grown over the decades, despite formidable obstacles, into a business with more than 13 branches and over 500 employees throughout Victoria. The name Patterson Cheney was originated from the two parent companies of Bill Patterson Motors Pty Ltd and The Cheney Motors Group after the successful merger of the two groups.

The opening of Patterson Cheney Toyota in 1982 undeniably marked a major success story in the Group’s history of development. Being located in the multicultural area of Dandenong we are proud to cater for our diverse community.
